John Ahlf knew from early on that he wanted to be a successful business man, and focused his life decisions about where to go to school and where to work to this end. Educated at Cornell, where he graduated with a bachelor's in Business Management and Marketing, John Ahlf went on to graduate from Hamilton University with a master's Degree in Business Finance. Through both programs, Mr. Ahlf maintained honors-level grades. The self-discipline required for this rigorous education helped instill in Mr. Ahlf the drive to become successful in multiple areas of business
John Ahlf's post-university career path has proven him to be one of the most versatile and unstoppable individuals working in business today. Mr. Ahlf was recently invited to represent Iowa at the National Business Committee's annual meeting in Washington D.C. This invitation is quite an honor. While in Washington, Johnathan Ahlf will have the opportunity to network among other successful business people. One of the highlights of the committee meeting will be the opportunity to dine with the president.
Currently, John Ahlf is Vice President of Marketing for NFG in Davenport, Iowa. NFG is an exemplary organization for someone of Mr. Ahlf's character to work for, as they are committed to the highest level of customer service. At NFG, John Ahlf works with the company's vision of underwriting loans at the lowest possible interest rates, and working with their customers to bring down closing costs as much as possible
Before working with NFG, John Ahlf managed his own subsidiary of Cornerstone America, an insurance company. John Ahlf's accomplishments through Cornerstone reflect the solid sales skills he possesses along with his managerial, marketing and finance skills. While with Cornerstone, Mr. Ahlf was honored as the top sales representative 11 months in a row. Also while at Cornerstone, John Ahlf became part of their "Million Dollar Round Table" and held that position for four years.
In addition to managing his business career with such precision, John Ahlf genuinely cares about the lives and situations of others. Within the state of Iowa, he has committed himself to extensive education on the psyches of children of single-parent families. To this end, Mr. Ahlf is part of an organization called Fathers for Equal Rights which advocates for non-custodial parents.
